Overview of New Resident

Residents can be added either manually or imported from a database. Information about each resident, including demographic, personal, medical, and billing information can be added. There are two methods to manually add a resident record:

  1. New Resident: guides you through all the tabs in the resident record to complete the resident entry into the PointClickCarere system

  2. Quick ADT: allows you to add a resident record when the resident is admitted or transferred to your facility. This method is typically used by Clinical staff off-hours, entering minimal information to create the resident record and immediately begin charting the resident's medical information. The resident's financial record is then completed later by Admin staff.
